Customer Appreciation Day

     WALLINGFORD, Conn. ( SEPT 22, 2016)- The W.I. Clark Company hosted a Customer Appreciation Day on September 22 featuring a trio of food trucks, vendor displays, competitions and a Truck Show with three classes. Over 350 people enjoyed the beautiful weather on the first day of autumn.

   Customers had a chance to show their skills in three different competitions. Aaron Nezvesky of Snow’s Farm won the Excavator Challenge as he mastered the controls of a John Deere 85G Excavator. Brian Riendeau of Riendeau & Sons Logging won the Forestry Simulator Challenge by loading 42 logs in three minutes. The Excavator Simulator Challenge was won by Zack Tiezzi of Summit Landscaping.

   The truck show Dump Truck class was won by Kim Pelletier and his 1963 Mack B-61, Collin Morin placed second with a 1988 Mack PM FWD and Norm and Steve Haller were third with their 1973 International Loadstar 1600 . Pelletier also placed first in the Tractor Class, with a 1986 Mack Superliner Jay Sesilli was the runner-up with his 1971 Ford F-750 and Robbe Perrin finished third with a 1991 BMY M932A2.

   The Pickup class was won by Tom Lawlor, III and his 1977 Ford-750. A 2000 Chevrolet ½ Ton entry from Tabacco Brothers was second and Scott Whiles took third place honors with his 2001 Dodge 2500.

   The Grand Prize raffle drawing was the use of a mini excavator for a month and was won by Chip Neal of Seymour Sealing Service
